Dear Friends and Neighbors,
After 60 days, the Washington State Legislature finished its business and adjourned for the year on March 10. I sent an email update on Thursday reflecting on the accomplishments and disappointments of the 2022 session. If you haven't read that update yet, you can find it here.
I plan to send out occasional updates until the election-year freeze in May.
Join me this Saturday morning, March 19, for an in-person town hall meeting at WSU Vancouver!
Please mark your calendar and join me this Saturday, March 19 for an in-person 17th District town hall meeting at Washington State University Vancouver.
During the 90-minute forum, I will provide an update of the recently completed 2022 legislative session, and then answer questions from the audience.
I'm excited about this event because it is the first in-person legislative town hall I've been able to hold in person in more than two years because of COVID restrictions. We have held virtual town meetings, but they just are not the same as being able to communicate face-to-face.
Here are details of the event:
Saturday, March 19
10:30 a.m. – noon
Washington State University Vancouver
Dengerink Building Lecture Hall 110
14204 N.E. Salmon Creek Ave.
I hope to see you there. Should you have any questions, please contact my office at (360) 450-4568.
