Rep. Vicki Kraft authors legislative members letter to state Board of Health opposing COVID mandates for students
Rep. Vicki Kraft, R-Vancouver, has authored a letter to the Washington State Board of Health asking that COVID-19 vaccinations not be mandated for students to attend K-12 public schools in person. The letter is signed by legislators in both the House and Senate.
Kraft is the sponsor of House Bill 1305, which would allow individuals the right to refuse any vaccination or related health measure.
“I have been opposing these mandates since the beginning. No one should be required to be vaccinated, and no one, including students, should be denied services, or access to public places if they are not to vaccinated,” said Kraft. “I will keep fighting to protect the people and their constitutional rights.”
The state Board of Health will be meeting virtually on Jan. 12.
